본명 장정안
1999년 7월 당시 유행하던 테크노 장르인 1집 <무정(無情)>타이틀 곡 <무정>으로 데뷔했다.
역시 배우겸 가수 활동을 했던 이정현과 함께 테크노 전성기를 이끌었다. 빼어난 가창력을 선보이지는 못했지만 외모와 당시 유해하던 테크노의 시류로 꽤나 인기가 있었다.
이후 여러가지 우여곡절끝에 배우로전향하여 지금까지 활동중이며 22년 놀면 뭐하니에 출연했으나 마지막 최종 결선에서 탈락하여 WMSG에 이름을 올리지 못했다.

Chae Jung-an's singing activities are compared to Lee Jung-hyun, and the genre is the same, and the composer of each other's debut songs "Mujeong" and "Wa" is Choi Joon-young. The agency was also the same "Yedang Entertainment" as Lee Jung-hyun, and strangely, they always released producing albums by the same composer at the same time. Choi Joon-young also composed the title track of her second full-length album, "Letter," and also made Lee Jung-hyun's second title track "You," which will be released side by side at the same time.
