헤비메탈 그룹 시나위의 데뷔앨범이자 한국 가요계 최초의 창작 헤비 메탈 앨범이다. 헤비 메탈의 그룹의 존재를 언더그라운드가 아닌 좀더 많은 대중들에게 선포하는 역할을 한 기념비적 앨범.

■ About The Album

It is the first creative heavy metal album in the K-pop industry and a monumental album that served to proclaim the existence of the heavy metal group to the wider public, not to the underground. Since the album's release, Korean metal music has finally reached its heyday with Baekdusan's "Too Fast! Too Loud! Too Heavy!" and "Rock Will Never Die" of resurrection.

All of the songs were written a week after they were told to record because there was a creative song, even though there was no song prepared due to a sudden recording offer from the record company. And it is also a famous anecdote that vocalist Lim Jae-beom caught a cold and ended the recording as if it were live in three days. Some songs were sung in the studio for rehearsals, but Shin Dae-chul went in as it was, and it is said that he does not listen to them because he is embarrassed.

Unlike the rough and crude recording state, it shows a meticulously constructed composition. Based on violent heavy metal numbers, lyrical rock ballads ('I'm a Candle in front of you') and emotional performances ('January') as well as epic masterpieces ('Lost Fantasy') are evenly arranged. There is "Namsadangpae," which is paired with the name Sinawi, and "Turn on the radio loudly," which many junior rock bands still remake and sing, is taking another place. This composition, as if determined to show all the possibilities with this single album, may be due to the urgency of the limit situation in which the next album could not be promised. It is also noteworthy that at a time when pop metal such as Bon Jovi was a global trend, he tried to compete with traditional heavy metal reminiscent of Black Sabbath by Ronnie James Dio.

The album has been re-released four times in total. Although Lee Byung-moon was an early vocalist and was mistakenly known for re-recording as Lim Jae-beom, Shin Dae-chul revealed that he worked with Lim Jae-beom in "Running Dog is Happy," and Shin Dae-chul himself wrote the following reply to a netizen's question. "The first album was the official version recorded by Lim Jae-beom. Lim Jae-beom joined the military after performing several times after releasing the album. They were so enthusiastic at the time that the record label rushed to find a replacement So the friend I recruited is Lee Byung-moon. I recorded a few songs in a hurry and came up with a re-edited album." The album art also varies slightly depending on the release version, with the first jacket printed in a light tone on the front and back, while the trial was printed in a rather dark tone. It is said that he used the performance poster drawn by Kim Byung-sam, a vocalist of the band Zero-G, who was an art student at the time.

The album, which had been out of print, was re-released in December 1999. It was re-released as part of the "Korean Rock Rediscovery Series" by Siwan Records, run by pop columnist Sung Si-wan, where the album's master tapes were lost, forcing several songs to be reprinted from the LP, and the rest to be digitally remastered from the best album (Best Collection released in 1988).
