■ About This Song

The 4th MBC University in 1980won a silver prize at a festival. Written and composed by Choi Myung-seop.

The low and heavy melody of the female lead vocal and the jazz-style melody that supports it are considered the charm of the song. The first verse is the audience's point of view of the empty stage, and the second verse is characterized by calm yet lingering lyrics that alternately describe the actor's point of view of the empty audience while sitting on the stage, and the addictive melody of the introduction is also used for gag programs and satire.

Sharp is a six-member group consisting of Kim Young-ran (Sukmyung Women's University), Noh Ki-young (Konkuk University), Yang In-ho (Yonsei University), Lim Tae-hwan (Yonsei University), Cho Sun-hee (Sukmyung Women's University), Choi Myung-seop (Sungkyunkwan University), and Choi Sung-jin (Gyeonggi University).

Main vocalist Cho Sun-hee is a professor of design convergence at Hanseo University. # Choi Myung-seop is the older brother of Choi Ho-seop, who sang "The Mask of Time," which was also included in Reply 1988 and is registered as a lyricist and composer of the song. For reference, over time, three brothers participated in the song simultaneously, composed by Choi Ho-seop, composed by Choi Gwi-seop, and written by Choi Myung-seop.

Because of the first verse of the lyrics, "After the play" is often known as the title of the song, and after tvN's entertainment play, the song was used as the motif.

Composer Choi Myung-seop directly commented on the 1980 live video posted on MBC's official channel, directly refuting the plagiarism allegations raised by some people, saying they were absurd.
