Lisa, a member of the girl group BLACKPINK, has been officially listed in five categories of Guinness World Records (hereinafter referred to as Guinness).

According to Guinness World Records on the 24th (Korea time), Lisa set a new world record with her first MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) K-pop solo award and MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA) K-pop solo award.

Lisa was named the main character in the best K-pop category at the 2022 MTV VMAs and 2022 MTV EMA. VMA is one of the four most popular music awards in the United States, along with the Grammy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and the American Music Awards, and MTV EMA is considered one of the largest music awards in Europe.

Lisa also set a new official record for the most number of K-pop artists on Instagram followers. As of the 19th, Lisa's official Instagram has 86.3 million followers, ranking 38th in the world in the number of Instagram followers worldwide.

Earlier in 2021, Guinness World Records said, "LISA's music video was recognized as 'the YouTube video of a solo artist who watched the most in 24 hours'." The "LALISA" music video recorded 73.6 million views on YouTube on the first day of its release. Guinness explained that this broke the previous record written by American pop star Taylor Swift with the hit song "ME!" music video (65.2 million) in April 2019.

Guinness World Records also said the music video for "LALISA" was recognized as "the most watched YouTube video of a K-pop solo artist in 24 hours."

Meanwhile, Black Pink, to which Lisa belongs, is conducting the largest K-pop girl group world tour, mobilizing about 1.5 million people. Last year, 14 concerts in seven cities in North America and 10 concerts in seven cities in Europe were successfully completed. Black Pink has since moved to Asia to meet fans, and will be on stage as a headliner at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in the U.S. in April and the U.K. Hyd Park British Summer Time Festival in July.
