Nancy debuted as MOMOLAND in 2016 at Double Kick Company and completed her seven-year journey to MLD Entertainment.

Nancy has been active as a center and lead vocalist in the team and has been loved for her colorful and Western visuals, so she has since been open considering the transfer of not only K-pop but also actor companies.

MLD Entertainment also announced the expiration of all members' contracts through its official position. MLD said, "After a long discussion with MOMOLAND (Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy), we respected each other's opinions and agreed to terminate the exclusive contract at the expiration of the contract period."
