■ About Lee HyunDo

Lee Hyun-do's appearance as an entertainer and musician was the first time in 1990 that he introduced Lee Hyun-do and Kim Sung-jae, who were close younger brothers, to Lee Soo-man and worked under Hyun Jin-young with Hyun Jin-young and Wa.

Then in 1991, Lee Hyun-do and Kim Sung-jae were disappointed by Hyun Jin-young's appearance when they suddenly saw strong men jumping onto the stage and pulling Hyun Jin-young down the stage while Hyun Jin-young and Wawa were performing on an outdoor stage in Busan. It turned out through the news that the reason why Hyun Jin-young was arrested was cannabis, and in the aftermath, SM employees such as Choi Jin-yeol and Jung Hae-ik were investigated by the police, and Lee Hyun-do was very angry at Hyun Jin-young's irresponsible behavior. At that time, due to Hyun Jin-young's cannabis case, SM Planning was investigated by the police, and all activities of the company were suspended and Wawa's activities were also suspended.

At this time, Lee Hyun-do suffered from anger at Hyun Jin-young and frustration due to her sudden suspension of her career due to Hyun Jin-young's cannabis incident, but decided that she could not end up as a dancer, and bought a synthesizer.

Kim Sung-jae, who began to think about his career, began studying for college, and Lee Hyun-do entered Moon Night (club) again and danced, when an acquaintance felt sorry for Lee Hyun-do, who was relieving his anger while dancing, and recommended an audition. So I decided to debut as a singer and auditioned for Kim Kwang-soo of Core with Kim Sung-jae, but I failed. Lee Hyun-do's acquaintance, who felt sorry, introduced the muse planning again, which was said to have rented a dance room because the environment was so poor that there was no office and no dance room to practice choreography. After some time, Hyun Jin-young was released from prison and then completed his first song, "Only for You," and played it to Hyun Jin-young, asking for a song, saying it was very good.

In doubt, he sang it to Lee Soo-man, who praised the song and included it in Hyun Jin-young's album "New Dance 2". At this time, Hyun Jin-young suggests doing Wawa again, but Lee Hyun-do, who gained great confidence, refused. After that, Kim Seong-jae went to Hanyang University, and Lee Hyun-do applied for the Department of Practical Music, but as he failed, he became more and more obsessed with composing. And it's too much to complete the arrangement with just the instrument, so I rent Yoo Tae-young's studio to compose.

Finally, he completed the album and formed Deuce, and in April 1993, he released his debut album "DEUX". The title song is "Look Back at Me". However, even a month after the album was released, the broadcasting station did not sing it, so it was a desperate situation that he could not do broadcasting activities. At that time, he became very popular with the public when he appeared on SBS's K-pop program, which highly regarded Deuce's songs, and since then, Deuce has left a very big mark in the Korean hip-hop world.

In 1994, he worked on the song "For You Only" and was scheduled to be included in Deuce's next album, but gave the title song to then-new singer Koo Bon-seung. In particular, the melody is quite deep in deuce's style.

In 1995, he announced his dissolution to get out of the agency's influence and pursue deuce-down activities. After Kim Sung-jae was released as a soloist, he made a grand plan to expand his range by providing musical support, but the day after Kim Sung-jae made his first comeback stage on SBS, he was found cold and found not guilty. After attending Kim Sung-jae's funeral, he immediately went to the U.S. and lived for about a year. After that, he decided to overcome the pain of losing his friend and start a new solo career, making a comeback with his first album "Do It" as the title song "The Saga Continues", his 2.5th album "D.O Funk", and his 3rd album "Complete Hip Hop" until 2000. In addition, he released the live performance of the concert held during his first album as a live album, Still A Live, and released a single album called "I Love You" by remaking the song of spring, summer, fall, and winter. Except for the single, all solo albums have songs that miss Kim Sung-jae.

However, after his friend's death, he put more weight on his activities as a producer, such as caring for junior singers and making music, rather than going on stage himself. The most representative albums are Lula's 4th album (title song: 3!4!), Jinusean's 1st album (follow-up song: Tell me), Yoo Seung-jun's 3rd album (title song: vision, follow-up song: Yeonga), and all of them are songs that hit the jackpot [15], and the melody and lyrics of the title song are also felt by Lee Hyun-do.

The last album named after him was the production album "The New Classik," which was made by bringing together hip-hop artists around the end of 2004. Since then, he has been completely devoted to producing.
