In 1998, he released his first album, "Bijou Is Ballad", with LOVE LOVE as the title track. At the end of the 1990s, dance music was the mainstream, so medium tempo-style songs, which were difficult to see as mainstream, became popular by stimulation of freshness. Eventually, he won first place at MBC Music Camp with his debut song and was recognized for his potential. The follow-up song was selected as "Now I Know" and we're promoting for a while.

At the end of 1998, he released a carol album, "The First Winter of the Bijou". The album includes a remake of Last Christmas, new songs "Once Again" and "Christmas & Christmas", and a carol-style house remix of the first hit "Love Love". In other words, a carol album without classical carols. Unfortunately, it was not made in the case of "second winter."

The following year, the title song of the second full-length album "Love Is" released in 1999 was composed by Choi Dae-bi, who was loved by the public with a slightly brighter and romantic atmosphere than before. The song remained at the top of the list of music programs and was loved by the public. The second album's sequel, "It's Okay," is a sad ballad in contrast to the title song.

Since he wrote and composed almost all the songs in the first and second albums, it is safe to say that he is a so-called singer-songwriter who was both good at composing and writing lyrics. Choi Da-bi's natural tone and residents' rapping were well harmonized, and the songs were easy to listen to in a bright atmosphere, so the first and second albums were so successful that they ranked high in the music program. It was also characterized by the addition of French narration rap to the song, which is rare.

Since then, when we entered our third album "Face The Music R&B" in 2000, this style has changed somewhat, and even if you listen to the title song, Sentiment, you can clearly feel the difference. Perhaps because of the sudden change in the color of the music, the popularity began to drop sharply from the third album, and as a follow-up song, he worked with a ballad song "I Swear My Love," similar to the songs of the existing album, but rather responded better than the title "Double Belt." Fans expressed regret that they would not have failed if the song was the title. However, many responded that this song was also difficult to overcome the popularity of the original song because it was a song that only changed the lyrics of Lee Eun-hye's cartoon Blue OST, which Bijou participated in. After the end of his third album, Choi Dae-bi officially left Bijou due to the expiration of his contract and is preparing for a solo album.
