He has been a rising star in CosM since 2018. It has been known to hip-hop fans since 2018, and has made its name known to the public by appearing in Dingo Freestyle GRBOYZ and Show Me the Money 8.

김승민, 참 매력있는 가수다. 타이틀을 Deep Sea로 걸었지만 개인적으로는 8번곡인 Lovin이 더 마음에든다. 좀더 특색있고 그의 장점과 감성 어필이 더 잘 표현된것 같다.
특이하게도 10번 노래 잘 지내길 바래는 위의 다른곡들과는 달리 어쿠스틱하다. 그의 목소리가 전자음이 벗겨지고 다소 투박하게 들릴 수 있으나 이 노래가 훨씬 더 매력적이고 호소력이 짙다. 오히려 김승민답지 않은 곡이지만 역설적으로 가장 이 앨범에서 오히려 가장 그다운 노래가 이 노래인듯 싶다. 가장 좋은 노래를 꼽으라면 주저없이 '잘 지내길 바래' 를 꼽겠다.
