SEENROOT

Shin Hyun-hee is a Korean mixed duo band, and Kim Root is from Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and came to Seoul together. In 2017, the song "Oppa-ya" rose to popularity on the charts, establishing itself as the next-generation Hongdae indie band runner after Bolbbalgan4, but it did not last long and was disbanded in May 2019.

When introducing the group, they say a 15-character comment called "The Brilliant Oriental Cheerful Acoustic Duo," and each one has an interesting story. First of all, Gi-dong-chan is said to be a Daegu regional dialect that means "special" and "genius." It is said that it was attached to reveal where it came from. Oriental is a name related to vocalist Shin Hyun-hee, and if you listen to Shin Hyun-hee's song quietly, you can see that her voice has a feeling like Korean traditional music or a spear. I thought, "It might sound like that depending on the listener," so I added oriental. The two members added cheerfulness because they were cheerful, and the acoustic duo was also attached because they were acoustic duo.
