소녀시대 메인보컬 태연의 정식 솔로 데뷔 앨범 타이틀곡.
"태연 하면 발라드"라는 대중의 예상을 깬 팝 곡이다. 대중들로부터도 스토리 담긴 가사와 계절에 어울리는 시원한 사운드로 호평받았다. 실제 곡이 공개되었을 때 발라드가 아닌 모던락 풍의 노래를 들고 나왔다는 사실에 놀란 반응들이 많았으나, 발매 이후 좋은 성적이나 커뮤니티 반응들을 보면 신의 한 수였다는 평가가 많다. 발라드라는 위험하지 않은 장르를 포기하고 본인이 하고 싶은 음악을 시도해 대중의 폭발적인 주목을 받은 것이다.

Girls' Generation Taeyeon is releasing her first solo album.
Taeyeon, who is the first member of Girls' Generation to do solo activities, is recognized for her attractive voice and excellent singing skills with various OSTs and collaborations with musicians, as well as Girls' Generation and Unit Girls' Generation-TTSER activities.
The album contains a total of six tracks in various genres, including the title song "I," as well as domestic and foreign hitmakers such as British composer Tim London Noise, famous songwriter Zoombas, producing group MonoTree, and hip-hop musician Verbalgent.
